Day 14, 1:20 pm

Another A+: Sage just kicked some cardiothoracic butt. She performed like a champ during the procedure, blood pressure and pulse remained stable. The larger tube is in and the lung is clear of that pathetic little pneumothorax. Onward and upward!

  3. Wonderful news! I suddenly had a memory last night of the first time I met Sage. Sophie and I were meeting in the Class 1 room to figure out what needed to be done before school started. Sage came in, saw my computer (which was hooked up to the web with a wireless card), and asked if she could check e-mail. She did, and saw a picture of a new baby in your family (a cousin?).

will do the job and her lungs will be clear. Great to hear that she
is continuing to do well on the blood, and liver, and kidneys front.
Even though we're not coming to help out with presence and visits,
