The past few hours have seen further improvement in Sage's condition!
Sage is now off all pressors (medications to maintain a higher blood pressure level). This is a good sign that Sage is stabilizing well.
After moving the femoral lines to the neck, Sage is still doing well with oxygenation. She is also holding her own with 70% oxygen on the ventilators and has saturation levels in the low to mid 90 percents. Sage has also been stable enough to receive a bath.
We will update again in the next few hours. All of your support means a lot to Sophie and Sage in this time!

ReplyDeleteI have a vivid memory of you at your mom's SDI graduation. You climbed up on the huge rig that holds the basketball hoop in the gym and just sat there watching quietly. Most of the folks playing didn't even notice! That rig is quite a ways up, so I am still wondering how you made it up there... Just the fact that you did shows you are quite a fighter, so I am confident you will make it through this current challenge with flying colors. All the best!
